I really don't think Michael Fassbender would make...
I can’t picture him as Moran at all, really.  Craig is much closer, IMO, because he’s got that devil-may-care attitude down… Hmm.

mrsjohnbates: I’m thinking of Houseman meeting Orson in the bathtub and I cannot stop giggling like I’m 4. Apparently, Orson stood up and there was a great splashing and cascading of water. So, basically, he just…stood up.  Hey, John, hey! Be with you in a sex.  I mean, sec.   Why is this so funny, dear god.   According to this book: ...

ASOIAF Teas for Sale! (By me, through Adagio.) →
STARK (& SNOW): Irish Breakfast, White Blueberry, Caramel: When out galavanting in the snow, you need a strong, robust blend to keep you warm. But the folks of Winterfell also enjoy a bit of sweetness—a dash of Honor mixed in. Ah, such a warm brew. GREYJOY: Gunpowder, Spiced Green, Chestnut: A powerful, robust tea for the iron-hearted. One needs to be drinking the strong stuff when out...

No. Just no.
chezfangirl: STOP calling the american show CBS “Sherlock”. There will only ever be one true “Sherlock”, and it is BBC. The other is called Elementary. Let’s leave it at that. wat. The one true Sherlock is Sherlock Holmes, created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.  Everything else is an adaptation.  Please be more careful in the future.

sherlockismyholmesboy: theeoncomingstorm: John Watson to be cast as a woman? What kind of an idiot would think that was a good idea!? Oh wait I forgot Americans were in charge of the new version… You’re absolutely right. The place where a person is born ultimately dictates how intelligent they are, no matter how much they apply themselves to their studies in the real world. This means...

Sounds fair.   Really, guys, let’s not get into this American stereotyping shit.  It sucks.   And that’s all I’m going to say. Goodnight.

America does not equal CBS.
Stop taking shots at Americans, you pretentious jerks.  Also, stop assuming that there’s a female Watson because CBS is somehow homophobic.  I’m pretty sure that’s not it.  Imma just be over here ignoring the Sherlock fandom for a while.

The Artist was a wonderful movie. People forget...
It’s much more complex than I thought it would be going into it.  For a silent movie, its use of sound is absolutely brilliant, and the acting was spot on.  Dujardin has just proven that he has beautiful range, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Academy Award went to him.  The cinematography was gorgeous as well, and nothing seemed out of place.  I was completely engaged every...

grilledcheeseandpearls: Going to see The Artist later tonight. I would’ve been there now if it hadn’t sold out. The guy told me the 7:10 showing was sold out, and an old lady started cackling with laughter when she saw my face.  Listen, lady, Jean Dujardin is my one true love, and we will be together, even if it means waiting until 9:30 !  Same thing happened to me when I tried to see it...
